Mount and blade with fire and sword user manual
Troop recruitment also has a number of changes from the original games. In villages, you can only recruit weak militia, who provide little in the way of combat ability. Troops recruited from Mercenary Camps are stronger and have more upgrade potential; the player can also customize mercenaries' equipment by visiting the camps. The most effective soldiers are recruited from Commanders in fortifications your faction controls.
Walking around the towns , villages and fortresses will reveal a far larger game environment which could cause lag on lower-end PCs. In towns and fortresses, players have a number of new options available through the new Town Center. Players are also unable to rename their own faction. Mercenaries: elite troops which can be recruited from a Mercenary Commander.
They cannot be recruited from Mercenary Camps or taverns. Special soldiers: special troops which can only be recruited in a few fortifications. The commanders vary. Tavern mercenaries: Mercenaries that can be recruited from taverns. They can best militia but not regulars. Camp mercenaries: Mercenaries recruited from mercenary camps.
Their stats are always lower than similar faction troops but their equipment can be customized. There will often be rumours about commanders, which can suggest what troops are available to be recruited. You must come back to the same commander four days later to pick up your troops by clicking "I want to recruit some men.
Anyone solved? Originally posted by Raython :. Well, i got a new PC and it seems to work now Maybe try switching your GPU if you have multiple ones, as a lot of laptops do; I. E integrated and dedicated GPU.

A man who strikes without thought of his action can cut God. KSBD To cut properly, you must continually self-annihilate when cutting. Your hand must become a hand that is cutting, your body a body that is cutting, your mind, a mind that is cutting. You must instantaneously destroy your fake pre-present self.
It is a useless hanger on. A brain is useful only up until the point when you are faced with your enemy. Then it is useless.
The only truly useful thing in this cursed world is will. You must suffuse your worthless body with its terrible heat.
You must be so hot that even if your enemy should strike your head off, you shall continue to decapitate ten more men. Your boiling blood must spring forth from your neck and mutilate the survivors!
Each must be singular in its beauty, no matter how many precede it. You must make your enemies weep with admiration, and likewise should your head be shorn off by such an object of beauty, you must do your best to shed tears of respect.
When decapitating an enemy, it is severe impoliteness to use more than one blow. A man who finds pleasure in the act of cutting is an artisan.
Man always strives to cut man. Therefore he who draws his sword the fastest is the survivor. To pre-empt this, you must live, eat, and shit as a person who has their sword drawn. It doesn't matter whether your blade, in actuality, is always out of its sheathe, though you will look like an idiot if it is. Consider: The undefeated swordsman must be exceptionally poor. He clings excessively to his blade. His footwork is unsteady. His grip is too hard and he is afraid to crack the earth with his step.
He has a shallow and wandering gaze, his tongue is sluggish and pale. He refuses to exhale the hot breath of the Flame Immortal. The weak swordsman clings to victory. He thinks of his life, his obligations, the outcome of the battle, his hatred for his opponent, his training, his pride in his mastery.
By doing so, he is an imperfect vessel for the terrible fires of Will. In my guide i listed 2 strategies which can be used after you level up a few times, spend your character points appropriately to the strategy you wish to use.
Some things to keep in mind before starting a game: Originally posted by Skullthug :. While most of these can be changed later on in the options screen, they do influence the start of the game in terms of equipement. Advised is to choose the easy option, since the difficulty of the game can always be adjusted in the menu. The choices you make before the stats of your new character show up, have the option to be exploited to make a character with much higher stats and more starting gear.
Due note, that this is cheating trough exploiting a bug and this will render the rpg element of game useless. It's a very simple process wich i discovered by accident, after sometimes gaining a character with lv9 attributes and higher stats.
These 2 screens appear before the stats page. If you simply choose a difficulty and upon reaching the gender page, hit back, 2 points to all your attributes will be added and your stats will increase. This can be done indefinitely. This is the result of clicking back 5 times and then choosing a gender. Your main source of money early game will be killing bandits and maybe doing some quests. Be careful which bandit you attack, since some are armed with muskets. Looters: Low tier bandits with only bad melee weapons and dressed in rags.
Quite tricky to take out, would not try these as they have beaten me more times than any bandit when i solo early game. Although in low numbers and if you are in luck, with no bows they are fairly easy to kill with your pistol if you have a decent amount of skill in firing from horseback.
Desired troops are infantry without a shield, and not too high armor which you can kite with your pistol. Scottish troops are very good for this, if they have musketeers, focus on them first with melee and then wear the others down with your ranged until they run and then kill them with melee.
Be sure to carry enough ammo, or else you will be forced to pick up rounds off the musketeers or use melee, which won't be very effective against pikes and claymores After you have gained a starting capital of about k thaler, it is time to get some equipement. Don't bother looking for them in fortresses, search in the cities. You can either keep them or release them after you've done robbing them. One fine example of this is Karlsson. His Half-Cuirass is quite expensive, so early game you are better off taking his armor and letting him go with a replacement robe or This strategy goes up for some other companions like Victor De La Buscador who has a very good complete set of equipment: Helm: Simple Morion Body Armor: Bodyguard Camisole Boots: Infantry Boots Gloves: Infantry Gloves Others may have horses or other more relevant weapons for your character, but always be sure to check if their hire price isn't too high if you are going for their equipment.
