Sears and Roebuck made some of the finest woodworking tools for the homeowner under the Craftsman brand. For years, home woodworkers could purchase good quality woodworking tools and machines made by quality American companies at Sears. Much of that has changed now with much of the manufacturing going overseas and quality of many tools diminishing as more and more plastics and other materials were used.
