Windows phone games with achievements

Purchases have already been disabled in the Windows real-time strategy game, and the servers will close in May Gameloft has announced that the servers for the Windows PC and Windows Phone title won't close until February now. You now have until the end of the year before the game's servers close. On October 11th, the online multiplayer servers for Crysis 2 will be closed, and this will render 15 achievements as discontinued.

Players no longer have just a couple of days to get the achievements as the servers will now be running until the end of September. Today, AlphaJax and Snap Attack received identical server closure announcements. Both games will be shutting down and will no longer generate puzzles beginning May 18th, Now it seems like the same has happened to Asphalt 8: Airborne WP. Gameloft has confirmed that two of their Windows Phone titles will not receive further updates.

The news should not be a surprise considering Microsoft is dropping support for their WP platform. The new patch includes a new game mode, new level cap and rewards, and plenty more. We have just picked up the achievement list for Minecraft: Pocket Edition. There are 72 achievements worth a total of 1, Gamerscore, none of which are secret. The year started off with a batch of upwards of 15 games being removed from the Xbox One and Xbox Marketplaces. Now a hefty handful of Windows Phone games have bid their adieus. Everyone has the exact same problem and it is occurring on all windows phones using 7, 8 and 8.
